Sign in to reviewI was excited to find there was a new bakery opening up in the area and even more excited when I heard it was a Filipino Inspired one. I’ve been here a handful of times already and everything I have tried has been delicious. My favorite has to be the bibingka donuts. Pair that with any of their coffees or matchas and it’s the perfect combination! I’m looking forward to trying more! Sinta is definitely a great addition to Chula Vista!
I am so happy I came to check this bakery out! This place was filled with love from the moment I walked in, and you can feel it in every detail. The space is beautifully curated with the rattan chairs, pearl shade lights, and a warm modern Filipino bakery vibe that just feels like home. It’s cozy, thoughtful, and so well put together. The pastries are unique and inspired by real Filipino flavors. The star? The bibingka donut, do not leave without one, it is a must try. The lattes are equally impressive. I tried the milo (rich, creamy, perfectly crunchy) and the Mrs. Nguyen latte (4 shots, Vietnamese-style, absolutely delicious). Both were deliciously worth it! If you’re in the Chula Vista area, I definitely recommend this place!
We placed an order for two Monogram Cakes, two sheet cakes (one Ube and one Chocolate), Ube leche flan cupcakes, and DIY Selly Puff Pastries for my mom’s 70th Birthday. Communication: All communication was via email and response was pretty prompt! They asked for the theme of the party so that the Monogram cakes were decorated to fit the vibe. Delivery: The cakes and pastries were delivered on time (they actually beat me to the venue)! They gave instructions to the restaurant’s serving staff to ensure proper storage before serving. Taste: everyone seemed to really enjoy it! The Ube Leche Flan Cupcakes and Puff Pastries were gone as soon as we sang happy birthday. The Ube Sheet cake was so good! It wasn’t too sweet and had the perfect Ube taste. The Chocolate Cake is my favorite. I normally do not care for frosting but I ate it all! So delicious!!! I definitely recommend Sinta for your party needs. Be sure to book them early because they book up fast!! Thank you Sinta. We can’t wait for you to be part our next event/party 🤍
I visited on a Sunday morning during their soft opening and arrived right when they opened at 8. There was already a line, but the wait was expected because Selly’s pastries are hella yummy, and she’s clearly built a strong following. Even with the long line and a team of new hires in training, the staff was kind, patient, and efficient. Our pastries and drinks came out quickly, and everything was delicious. While we were there, we had a chance to chat with Selly (and her husband), who were so welcoming. She shared more about the café and her plans to introduce new recipes over time. The location is great! It's close to a park and, for me, close to home, which I’m especially excited about. I’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try what’s next!
Such a great experience and loveeee seeing FilAm beauty and flavors represented in such a special way! The energy was so lively inside and the staff was very helpful. I ordered the Mr. Nguyen viet coffee and it was STRONG in the best way possible. Super well balanced flavors. I also had the pandan/guava cupcake and the flavor was so authentic. The turon cupcake had more of a fresh banana taste but was still very delicious. And the bibingka donut was the WINNER (according to my lola who I brought it home too), I’ll definitely be back for that one. Can’t wait to be back!
