I came by the deli around 3pm on Sunday August 2nd, and my experience was so disappointing. I love Sprouts and their $6.99 sandwiches, but the experience became frustrating quickly. Melissa thought we were initially ordering 2 sandwiches and after I politely let her know we’d be ordering a 3rd she responded with an unfriendly expression and attitude. Throughout the order she kept telling us to speak up over the sneeze guard, but I felt we were speaking loudly and clearly. Maybe she does have trouble hearing behind it but no need to be so rude, and how ironic she couldn’t hear us but had no problem hearing and jumping in the conversations her coworkers were having in the background the whole time. Another customer walked up to the counter. Melissa said, "Be right with you," but the customer was still looking at the menu and stepped away for a moment. Melissa then mumbled, "Or not," while glancing at her. It came across as unnecessary along with her expressions while I was being polite the entire time yet she can’t even return basic courtesy or communicate with us properly, instead she’d just acknowledge us or our requests with a glance which was quite uncomfortable. On top of that, it took a long time for us to get 3 sandwiches made. After waiting that long, the last thing I expected was to be treated with such an unfriendly attitude. I'd gladly spend the extra money and make the trip to Whole Foods if it means receiving friendly service and being treated with basic respect.

This has become my favorite grocery store! Fresh produce, their sushi is phenomenal, especially their tuna tataki salad. I go for lunch and grab a herbed tuna sandwich. You can’t beat the price or flavor. I got my coworkers hooked on their sandwich bar. I also love all their vegetarian and vegan options. They have something for everyone. I also love their personal care section, which has plenty of options for the whole family. Plus their prices are very competitive. I am a Sprouts stan!

missy the associate who works at this location the older white woman with gray hair is not very friendly whatsoever. I was walking all around the store being told by several different employees on a specific item. It seemed like everyone did not know the location of where their items were and when you would come up to them and ask them nicely, it seemed like you were annoying them, and it seemed like they were bothered that they had to interact with customers and do their job. Missy was one of them. She wasn’t very friendly towards me. She was rude and she was disrespectful and rather than trying to make things right she thought that it was OK to talk about me to the other associates around her, which is not very team player like and that is not a good example of the store. Not only that she gave me dirty looks and made very racist remarks towards me. And as a person of color, this is not OK whatsoever. We should never walk into a store and feel discriminated against because other people can’t keep their opinions to themselves. and the lack of response from this company should say it all they hire people like this.
