Pho is one of the dishes most often mentioned by diners. A reviewer who usually doesn’t care for pho says the vegetarian pho is a reason to return when visiting Arizona, describing its flavors as robust and soothing. Another customer appreciated that staff took time to point out options suited to their food preferences. These accounts suggest that guests seeking a vegetarian meal may find choices to ask about, though it’s best to confirm ingredients and preparation directly with the restaurant, particularly if you have dietary restrictions. The reviews also mention a café special that includes a medium pho bowl with egg rolls or spring rolls, with the option to swap one for the other.
The menu experiences described by customers are not all the same. Alongside positive comments about pho and helpful guidance, some reviewers were disappointed with the service atmosphere or with particular items, including spring rolls, bánh mì, and boba. That range of feedback is worth keeping in mind: preferences, timing, and individual dishes can shape a visit. One diner enjoyed eating on the patio in the Phoenix sun, while another described ordering and paying at the counter and serving themselves. For the most current details on service, menu availability, or seating, check with the café before you go.
Tea Light Café is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is closed Sunday. Its Phoenix location makes it an option for a weekday lunch, an early dinner, or a relaxed meal with a companion. Pho-focused diners, people interested in vegetarian options, and anyone who likes pairing soup with egg rolls or spring rolls may find something to explore. If you’re choosing based on a specific dish or dietary need, ask about that item when ordering; customer feedback shows that experiences can vary. For a straightforward visit, plan around the posted hours and consider the café’s pho and Vietnamese staples as a starting point.

If you enjoy Pho this is the place to go! This place has been around for over a decade! Still using the original recipes from day one! I don't usually like Pho but any time I visit Arizona I come here and get the vegetarian Pho with chicken on the side. The flavors are robust and soothing.
Out of all the places I have been too this year, this was the worst one. I came here because of the food reviews. When we got there, the staff seemed really stressed. I am not sure if they can smile or not, but the atmosphere was really odd. anyways, the main disappointment - food. I always give the benefit of the doubt but there was just no saving this place. My mom, husband and me were all so disappointed, I had to apologized for choosing to eat here for dinner. the food for one is absolutely NOT authentic. The soup will NOT taste the way you are expecting. The meat had absolutely ZERO flavor. i asked for extra meat on the side, i got four slabs of meat that for some odd reason looked so fake. I put it in my broth, and my broth was not hot but warm, so my meat did not cook like it typically would. Bean sprouts? They gave the tiniest amount and it looked expired. so did the 2 jalapeños. so did the one piece of mint. litterally like they were about to run out of toppings. i kid you not I lost my appetite throughout this entire experience. I also paid for extra limes, i guess they do not give limes in general? because what do you mean I got a total of like 4 lime slices? AND THEY WERE SO DRY 😭 AND PLEASE - you will leave smelling like a restaurant. hard pass and am so shocked this place is in business. here we are leaving dinner, going out for dinner again; because the meal was meant for kids. yes, my entire party is still disappointed & hungry.
Nice place to eat on the patio in the Phoenix Sun ☀️. Tea light cafe special was a pretty good deal since it includes a medium sized pho bowl and egg rolls/spring rolls. You’re allowed to sub egg rolls for spring rolls and vice versa. You go in and pay first and essentially have to serve yourself. That’s nice for the business but seems a bit lazy compared to other Vietnamese restaurants we’ve been to. The Vietnamese coffee is decent. They will give you cold drinks automatically unless you specifically ask for hot. Pros: I liked that they gave me the lime juice in the plate in addition to limes. I always have to ask for extra limes at other restaurants. Meat is very good. It feels like they simplified the menu which I like. Cons: Soup is not very hot when it comes out and does not taste as flavorful. Feels like they are doing the bare minimum for the cost. Not much meat is given for each bowl.
Inedible food. Boba was too chewy/ hard to even eat, spring rolls so chewy and didn’t taste fresh. Bahn mi tasted like someone put jerky in old bread and covered in carrots. What was that sauce? Never going back. Very disappointed.
Finally had a chance to eat pho, I guess because it clearly identified as vegan/vegetarian. It was very nice , but the best part was the staff , once my food preference was known they made it a point to mention chandan’s that will allow me to eat the kind of food I wanted, very friendly and helpful.
