The Alley Portland

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing drinks and vibe! This has officially become my favorite spot. Not only is the brown sugar milk tea to die for, but the ambiance is also incredible. The shop is beautifully decorated, cozy, and perfect for either working or hanging out with friends. Great service and top-notch drinks! 10/10!

I stopped in The Alley because the Google page looked promising. I wasn’t disappointed; the brown sugar crème brûlée fresh milk boba met my expectations. It was yummy and I downed it way too fast. Both the boba and the pudding were excellent. The service was fast and efficient even though there were multiple people waiting for drinks. The girl who took my order was cheerful and kindly offered her assistance in answering any questions I might have had about the menu. The tea house itself was a clean and spacious environment. This is one of the better boba shops I’ve visited.

Staff is super nice and welcoming! Every drink I’ve had has always been delicious and they have your drink done pretty much the second you are done ordering. I would recommend the brown sugar crème brûlée milk tea !!!

Absolutely loved my experience here! The staff were so kind and friendly, and the strawberry mochi milk drink was amazing. Also the shop is super clean and cute I loved the layout! I substituted the mochi for boba and it was so good. Definitely coming back!

The store is absolutely gorgeous — bright, clean, modern, and totally aesthetic! I’m so excited The Alley, already a huge hit across Asia, is finally here in Portland for me to enjoy on this road trip. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the staff, the ambiance, and the incredibly friendly service. The cashier helped us double-check ingredients and answered every question since we had allergies in our group. The brown sugar boba was cooked perfectly — soft, sweet, and the ideal chewy doneness. The jasmine green milk tea had a light, natural fragrance (none of that overwhelming artificial taste), just that classic jasmine aroma you expect from top Asian milk tea brands. I also tried the Snow Velvet Cold Brew. The cheese foam was creamy and airy — more like a light whipped velvet layer — and the cold brew itself had a subtle Arabica note, not super aromatic like a fresh espresso, but exactly what a well-made cold brew should be. Still delicious and refreshing! Huge thanks to the team — I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!
