At 2223 N Westshore Blvd, Ste B201, The Cheesecake Factory welcomes guests looking for a dependable American restaurant in Tampa, Florida. Located at International Plaza, this Tampa dining destination is known for a wide-ranging menu that gives different diners plenty of choices in one place. Whether you are meeting friends, sharing a family meal, or stopping in for a relaxed dinner, the restaurant offers a familiar setting for enjoying a full meal and dessert. Its 4.3-star rating from 9,360 reviews reflects the large number of local and visiting guests who have shared their experiences.
The menu includes well-known favorites such as Chicken Madeira, Steak Frites, Steak Diane, and miso salmon. One customer described the Chicken Madeira as a long-time favorite and said the dish was delicious, while guests ordering the steak selections were pleased with their meals. Reviews also point to generous portions, making the restaurant a practical choice when a group wants different entrees rather than a narrowly focused menu. At the same time, feedback is not identical for every dish: one diner found the miso salmon somewhat dry and considered the overall price high. That range of comments gives diners a useful reason to choose dishes that fit their preferences and budget.
Dessert is central to the experience, with cheesecake and cake slices receiving especially enthusiastic mentions. Guests have praised the selection of cheesecakes as exceptional, and one review specifically mentions returning for a chocolate cake slice. For a celebration, a casual sweet treat, or the final course after dinner, the dessert menu adds another reason to visit. The restaurant can suit people who want a substantial meal, diners who prefer to share several items, and anyone visiting International Plaza with cheesecake in mind. The broad selection also makes it easier for a group to find something appealing without everyone ordering the same style of food.
Inside, the atmosphere is designed for a comfortable, full-service restaurant visit rather than a quick, limited-stop meal. Customer comments describe the experience as familiar and welcoming, with one returning guest saying that walking back in felt like coming home. Service can be an important part of the visit as well; a reviewer praised server Emily for her knowledge, while another appreciated help choosing a chocolate cake slice. Other feedback mentions inconsistency at the register, so expectations may vary by visit. Overall, the reviews present a well-established Tampa option with a varied menu, attentive moments, and room for improvement in individual service experiences.

Overall we paid about $100 for the dishes in the photos, and it just wasn’t worth it. Honestly that’s crazy expensive now that I’m looking back at the pics. The miso salmon was ok, but it was a bit dry and didn’t have too much flavor. The menu also said it came with snow peas, and we had thought it would be like a side of vegetables but it was literally five pieces. We hadn’t eaten a single snow pea in the picture attached. The description should make it clearer that there is not actually a side of vegetables included. $31 for a just some rice and a piece of salmon is already expensive enough, and it’s insulting for them to not even include a side of vegetables. We would not have ordered it if the menu made that clear. The chicken bellagio was underwhelming as well and fell short of my expectations. The pesto noodles were a bit bland and were more like plain butter noodles. There was barely any pesto on them, which i think you can tell from the photo, and I was expecting much more flavor overall. They did give a reasonable amount of chicken so no complaints about the quantity, but that was really the only good thing about the meal. The chicken salad sandwich was also just ok and the tiramisu cheesecake was fine. The cheesecake slice was pretty small for the price. #shrinkflation It was a forgettable meal and so expensive for what we got.
With so many incredible new restaurants opening around town, it had been a while since we'd visited The Cheesecake Factory. After this meal, I was reminded exactly why it has remained a favorite for so many years. Walking back in felt like coming home. The menu is still one of the most impressive anywhere. No matter what you're craving, there's something that will hit the spot. We started with the crispy egg rolls and a trio of flavorful dipping sauces, then enjoyed a perfectly crisp and juicy Chicken Parmesan served over buttery angel hair pasta. Every bite tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and expertly prepared. Of course, no visit is complete without dessert. We couldn't resist taking home a slice of their legendary Chocolate Cake and the warm Apple Crisp. Both were every bit as rich, comforting, and indulgent as we remembered. They were the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. What keeps bringing us back isn't just the enormous menu. It's the consistency. Years later, the food is still outstanding, the portions are generous, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the experience reminds you why this restaurant has stood the test of time. Sometimes the newest restaurant isn't the one that leaves the biggest impression. Sometimes it's the one that has been getting it right all along. The Cheesecake Factory is still one of those places, and we'll definitely be back.
We had a really good dinner at The Cheesecake Factory at International Plaza. I had the Chicken Madeira, which is one of my favorites, and it was delicious as usual. The others in our group ordered the Steak Frites and Steak Diane and were very happy with their meals too. The portions were large, the service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a lively but comfortable atmosphere. We skipped cheesecake this time, but we’ve had it on previous visits and it has always been good. Overall, another very enjoyable visit and we would definitely come back.
I’m giving stars because a nice Spanish lady recommended me a great chocolate cake slice before and she was there to help me get it again. The loss of stars is because Sara at the register was not only to busy on her phone when I came up to great me nicely but than threw my frozen whole cheese cake on top of my chocolate slice; Not only did I tip and keep my New York/latin attitude to myself. the attitude was unnecessary for her especially to reaping the chain; I like the cakes but not to be treated like trash even after tipping. I was going to ask for my tip back but that might have upset her more so I’m leaving this review in hopes you find a job that makes you truly happy to be in cause it doesn’t look like this is it *I asked for no whip multiple times
