Thrifty Pharmacy OKC is a pharmacy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, located at 10904 N May Ave L, Oklahoma City, OK 73120. It serves people looking for a neighborhood pharmacy experience and a place where staff can offer personal assistance. Customer feedback describes a welcoming, helpful team and a pharmacist who has built long-standing relationships with some customers. Experiences are not uniform, however, so it may be useful to contact the pharmacy directly with questions about a prescription, availability, or a specific service before visiting.

Customers often highlight attentive service as a reason they choose Thrifty Pharmacy OKC over larger chain pharmacies. Reviews describe staff as kind and helpful, with one customer noting that the longest wait they experienced was about 15 minutes, even with several people ahead of them. That is one person’s account, not a guaranteed wait time, but it offers a sense of the service customers have appreciated. For people who value speaking with pharmacy staff and receiving individual help, this Oklahoma City pharmacy may be worth considering.

The reviews also mention a selection of supplements and assistance finding products. If you are looking for a supplement, ask the team whether a particular item is in stock and whether they can help you locate an option that fits your needs. Customers have also mentioned compound medication when discussing the pharmacy, but the available information does not confirm which compounding services are currently offered. Anyone who needs a compounded prescription should contact the pharmacy to confirm its capabilities, requirements, availability, and timing before making plans.

Feedback is mixed: the pharmacy has a 3.6-star rating from 65 reviews, with positive comments about long-term relationships and helpful service alongside reports of frustrating prescription experiences. Prescriptions can involve availability and other requirements, so clear communication is important. If a medication is unavailable or cannot be filled, ask the pharmacy to explain the next steps and consider checking with your prescriber about alternatives. This balanced picture can help new customers decide whether the pharmacy’s service style is a good fit for them.

Thrifty Pharmacy OKC is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and closed Sunday. Its May Avenue location is in Oklahoma City’s 73120 area. Calling ahead can help confirm current hours, prescription status, supplement availability, and any service details that matter to your visit. Whether you are comparing local pharmacies or seeking more personal assistance, use the information that matters to you—such as wait time, medication availability, and communication—to decide if this pharmacy meets your needs.

Best pharmacy and pharmacist in the area. Personal help from everyone there. I have been a customer/friend of Thrifty for over thirty years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else 🩷 …

She, being the owner (Dani) didn’t want to fill two of my prescriptions. First, she didn’t have them in stock and she could order them and I was told that in the pharmacy. She calls me later that day and says she can’t fill these two prescriptions because they were too much She kept arguing with me. She kept saying I hadn’t reached my deductible, my insurance doesn’t have a deductible.not and she didn’t want to invest in them because of my deductible. I I DINT HAVE A DEDUCTIBLE! She was afraid I couldn’t pay the co-pay. She told me what it was and took money out of purse and said will cover co-pay? I have the best insurance anybody wants but that’s not the point if you look at Pictures online almost every picture says she is so passionate. I guess she’s passionate about sending people away. What’s her definition of passionate? I understand why people go there because of convenience she is extremely rude. My question is why is she passionate about? She works in customer service and last time I checked, you need to be passionate about what you do.
