This is my husband’s go to lunch spot, so I was excited to finally try it when I came to San Francisco, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I called in about 30 minutes before they were closing. The gentleman on the phone was very polite and professional, he gave me a few recommendations, and even though I don’t eat raw meat, he offered to cook it completely instead. I tried so many soups like this and can definitely say that it was one of the best pho soups I’ve tried in my life. Soooo good! Definitely recommending to try ! Thank you for great service and tasty soup.

I decided to try this restaurant based on its high ratings, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. During the meal, I noticed that some slices of meat had an unusual green, metallic-looking surface, which immediately raised concern. I informed the server right away, but he only said, “I will check,” and no further action was taken. I placed the questionable meat on a separate plate, and throughout the entire meal, no one followed up or addressed the issue. Only after clearing the table did the server go to the back to check with another staff member. He later returned and told me that the chef said it was “normal.” Afterward, I did my own research and learned that this appearance usually indicates the meat is no longer fresh, though it doesn’t necessarily mean it has spoiled. Since I didn’t eat it, I can’t comment on the taste. Overall, the way the staff handled a food safety concern was very disappointing and made the experience uncomfortable. Both the service and food quality fell far short of expectations, especially for a restaurant with such positive reviews.

First thought that comes to mind is the warm and attentive service here. The staff are top notch. The food comes in a close second. I really enjoyed the pho but was hoping for a little more punch from the broth. Needless to say I still finished it all! And will happily return to try other items on the menu.

I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the woman at the front desk of the hotel Zetta. I started with the turmeric dill catfish sandwich and fresh salad. I made the mistake of not reading the menu carefully and ate half a jalapeño before I realized the temperature wasn’t the only heat. The waitress gave me a Thai iced tea on the house to help me with the spice. I also had a banana pudding with peanut topping pie for the sweetness. Once I learned that the green pepper was a jalapeño, I took it out of the second half and finished the sandwich fine. I sat by the window and watched over a dozen scooter drivers in helmets pick up delivery orders while I was there. That reminded me of Spider-Man delivering pizzas on the back of his bike in the city. Considering the prime location, the prices are very reasonable.
