Sign in to reviewFinally had the chance to come to this market, especially to check out the food court. Everyone should know this before coming, there’s NO place to eat inside the market like other locations. I thought the layout of the market was strange and chaotic with no designated sections. Back to the food court- hot foods were very good with many options, especially protein. It’s $10.99 a pound. The sushi section didn’t look as enticing as the other locations for some reason so I skipped it. We couldn’t find any cooked white rice, not sure if it was hidden or not available. But there’s fried rice and rice triangles available.
I visited Tokyo Central in July during the grand opening, and what an amazing store it is! I’ve always loved this chain, but this location really impressed me. The inside is absolutely huge, with so many different sections to explore. The selection of ready-to-eat food is incredible, and it sells out quickly around lunchtime. You’ll find plenty of options, from meats to side dishes, and the sushi rolls are not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. I was especially impressed with the meat and seafood departments. There’s such a wide variety, all beautifully prepared: cut into cubes, thin slices, barbecue-ready portions, and an incredible assortment of fresh seafood. They also have a household goods section, though it’s a bit smaller compared to other stores in the chain. Overall, this place is a must-visit, especially if you’re just looking for a great lunch or want to stock up on quality food.
Went around 4pm on a Saturday, and the place was packed. There is a big parking lot shared with some other businesses but it is always painful because the spaces are tight. The store itself is quite big and very clean, and I liked how stuff was organized. Bought 4 items (the pic with 3 snacks and 1 cake) and it cost 32 bucks which is a bit on the expensive side. Quality is good though. Lots of sushi and meat options available in store, as you would expect.
Finally opening in Irvine all those people who loves Japanese food and everything , you must go here. It’s inside the nice building but everywhere seemed narrow and so many customers and hard to looking around inside and parking are full.
Love to see a new location in the area! This is a popular location, and the parking is a little tight. The store is a lot smaller than the other Tokyo Central locations. Place was clean and organized. They did a good job of the layout and it sure seemed they had a lot of food to offer. They had so many seafood and ready made mood out. If I lived in a neighborhood, I would be super happy to have this place. If you're craving sushi or sashimi, this is your place! Prices are affordable and reasonable. Produce section was small but majority of the other locations are also small. Their beauty section was nicely displayed and they had a good amount of variety. They had a few items that I haven't seen before. I did like how The store layout for the alcohol and snack area. It's all on one side and conveniently next to each other. Lines at the cashier moved fast & they also have contact less registers. Staff seemed friendly. Overall, fun place to visit and shop in. I will definitely come back!
