If you are exploring produce shops in Chinatown, VegiLand Market 橙地蔬果店 is a practical option in the Asian grocery store category in San Francisco, CA. Located at 1055 Stockton St, right in a busy part of Chinatown, this neighborhood market is known mainly for fresh vegetables, fruit, and everyday grocery basics. Its location makes it convenient for locals, workers passing through, and visitors who want to pick up ingredients while spending time in the area. The store is open daily from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, which makes it easy to stop in for a quick morning or afternoon shopping trip.

Customers most often mention the produce here. Reviews describe green leafy vegetables and other fresh items as a strong point, and some shoppers say the vegetable quality has been consistently good. Several people also note that prices can be competitive compared with other Chinatown markets, although, as with many produce shops, pricing may vary depending on season and supply. If you are shopping for everyday Asian cooking ingredients and want a simple market focused on fresh groceries rather than a large supermarket experience, this store may fit that need well.

The atmosphere sounds like what many people expect from a traditional Chinatown corner market: busy, compact, and sometimes crowded. Staff members have been described as speaking Cantonese, and some customers say service was fine or helpful. That makes VegiLand Market 橙地蔬果店 a reasonable stop for shoppers who are comfortable with a fast-moving neighborhood market environment. It may be especially useful for people nearby who want to grab vegetables, fruit, or pantry items without making a long trip.

At the same time, reviews suggest it is smart to shop carefully here. While some customers report fair pricing and fresh produce, others raise concerns about item weights and total charges. A practical tip from past shoppers is to double-check prices, confirm weights, and review your total before leaving, especially if you are buying produce sold by weight. Another useful note is that the store is reported to be cash only for purchases under $20, so bringing cash can help avoid inconvenience at checkout.

Overall, VegiLand Market 橙地蔬果店 is best understood as a straightforward Asian grocery store in San Francisco's Chinatown that may appeal to shoppers looking for fresh vegetables and a convenient local stop. It can be a good fit for nearby residents, home cooks seeking Asian produce, and visitors browsing Stockton Street who want to shop like a local. With its central location, daily hours, and reputation for fresh greens, it remains part of the everyday grocery rhythm of Chinatown, while careful price-checking can help shoppers have a smoother experience.

Fresh grocery but I double their weight (got a very round number for some randomly picked fruits). Seasoning is a bit more expensive

DO NOT GO! Be aware of SCAM! I bought a bunch of Chinese yam at this store and they charged me 19$ for it!! I left in a rush and didn’t check at the time. When I get home the yam weighing only 1.4lbs (633g shown in photo) what a joke! Only if they give me 6lbs would it make sense for 19$.

We bought some green-leaf vegetables from this Market. The clerks spoke Cantonese and service from them was fine. Prices were competitive with the other markets in Chinatown. We will come back when in the area. It is on a busy corner of Chinatown and the area gets crowded at times. However, it is fun walking in the area, and go shopping for fresh food.

Generally good prices (not always, but as with all the shops in Chinatown prices vary due to seasons/supply demand/whims of owner/who knows?). Have found their vegetables to be of consistently high quality though. Staff can be helpful. So overall a reliable choice.
