Sign in to reviewI’ve been going here for years for alterations and the quality has been impeccable. My last item I can only equate to a botched plastic surgery job. Technically, the alteration I needed was performed but I can’t imagine anyone would be happy with the result. It looks like it was hastily done, absolutely not worth the $90 I paid. The piece I had altered was a custom-make item that cannot easily be replaced. I genuinely wish I would have gone *anywhere* else. I won’t be returning and advise that if you have more than simple hemming to seek help elsewhere.
I have two wonderful vintage Silk men’s shirts that both had holes in the side seam leading to the armpit. I dropped them off at Young’s on Monday for repair and they were ready by Wednesday. The tears were not only repaired but also reinforced with an interior silk patch, so I know they won’t split again. Youngs did an excellent job matching the thread color to the shirt, I feel I can still wear these to fancy events, the repairs are nearly invisible.
THEY ARE THE BEST!!! 🥇 I arrived at 9am asking for a zipper fix for my work pants and asked politely if she'd have them done by 11am. She told me maybe. I said coo... I came back at 1145 am and boom! Done dada! Finished service. I was appreciative of her sense of urgency 💯 didn't know what to expect, if nothing else I was still showing up to pay my bill🤷 freeeeessshhhh😎⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The people that come here for dry cleaning seem to be regulars and the owner has a great rapport with them. I came here to get a bridesmaid dress hemmed. Asked for it to be just above the ground, but half of my foot was showing instead. This was quite frustrating for me because I paid $105 for the service ($85 for hemming, $20 for strap). I brought my dress back and asked her to undo the strap adjustment to bring back some length, however this did result in my dress being lower on my chest which is what I was originally paid for to avoid. I’m relieved we were able to somewhat fix the issue and we got the job done, but the original mistake, the back and forth to fix it, and the price, made this is difficult experience for me. :(
High quality and friendly staff. I am always happy with my alterations here.
