My first experience at the this place was excellent. The nail artist I previously had was kind, attentive, and highly professional. She asked thoughtful questions, ensured I was comfortable throughout the appointment, and provided exceptional service. That positive experience was the reason I chose to return. I even recommended your place to others because I truly believed she was one of the best nail artists I had. Unfortunately, my recent visit was entirely different and deeply disappointing. During the appointment, the nail technician cut my cuticle far too deeply, which resulted in pain and irritation afterward (photo attached). What concerned me even more was the lack of care and professionalism throughout the service. She did not apologize, check on my well-being, or communicate with me during the appointment. I also observed that other customers were offered beverages, while I was not offered anything. I arrived early after my work and drove 20 minutes to your place because I trusted the quality of service based on my previous experience. Instead, I was left waiting and felt unwelcome. I understand that mistakes can occur; however, customer service and professionalism are just as important as the quality of the nail service itself. I hope you will take this feedback seriously, as this experience was genuinely upsetting and far below the standard I expected from your place.

Best mani in the city! My nails have never been this long in my entire life. I've gone over a month before without a manicure and my nails are sooo long and they don't chip! I can't recommend Zorina enough.. Plus I love all the cute chick flicks they play on TV while you're getting your nails done!

Absolutely love Zorina Nail Studio. The quality is consistently amazing. Perfect shaping, clean work, and my nails actually last without chipping. You can tell they take their time and really care about the details. They serve drinks and little snacks, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed and elevated. The studio itself is spotless, bright, and super aesthetic. It’s one of the cleanest nail salons I’ve been to, and the vibe is calm, not chaotic. Overall just an amazing experience every time. Highly recommend if you want great nails and a place that actually feels worth it.

I gave 2 stars solely for ambiance. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst manicure experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve been to Zorina’s Union Street location before and have frequently booked junior masters, so I typically expect below-average but passable service. Today’s appointment was completely different and unacceptable. I booked at the new Pacific Ave location. The junior master immediately wet my cuticles, despite Russian manicures being a dry technique. As someone who has been to nearly every Russian manicurist in the Bay Area, I have very high standards and could tell right away the service was not being performed correctly. The gel removal was poorly done, leaving my nails rigid with leftover product. Once she began filing, I knew I couldn’t continue. After filing only three fingers and my thumb, she bent my thumbnail back, causing significant pain. At that point, I asked to stop the service. The photos clearly reflect the condition of my nails. What made the experience worse was the front desk interaction. When I stopped the appointment, I expected to pay the standard $50 cancellation fee. Instead, I was told I would be charged $70 for “cuticle work,” which was baffling considering my cuticles were not cut or touched. She only thought they were done because my usual manicurist is excellent even with me needing a touch up. I ultimately paid $40 for gel removal and filing few nails. Complete SCAM and poor service Zorina’s has a reputation in the Bay Area for mediocre Russian manicures, even among top masters, and this experience unfortunately reinforced that. I’ve only gone here in the past for emergencies like today, but this visit went beyond that. It was painful, poorly executed, and handled unprofessionally.
