Maha Thai Flower Mound

We recently had dinner at Maha Thai and it was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was packed with flavor. The portion sizes were very generous—each dish was enough for 2–3 people, making it a great value for the price. I’m sharing photos of the food we ordered. Everything we tried was excellent, and the quality and quantity exceeded our expectations. They have also recently added boba drinks to their menu, and my son absolutely loved them. I would definitely recommend giving them a try! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, generous portions, and a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back!

I visited this restaurant with my family, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. I ordered the tom yum soup, and it tasted awful. It smelled very sour, almost like it had been left over from the night before or had gone bad. It didn't taste like tom yum soup at all. I order tom yum at many different restaurants, and I also make it at home, so I know how it's supposed to taste. I also ordered the papaya salad. They offered two options: one with fermented crab and one made with only fish sauce. I specifically ordered the one without crab because I don't like the taste of raw fermented crab. However, they brought me the one with crab. When I told the server that I had ordered the one without crab, he just said, "Oh," with no apology. I felt bad asking them to remake it, so I told him it was fine and kept it. In the end, I didn't eat a single bite. I had it packed to go, but I ended up throwing it away in the trash on my way out. I also ordered a side of white rice, but it never arrived. Since I didn't enjoy the papaya salad anyway, I didn't bother asking for it during the meal. When I asked for the bill, the total was around $100. I asked if the bill included the white rice, and the server said yes. I told him that I had never received the rice, and he just looked confused and again never apologized. This restaurant was never like this before. I used to come here regularly when it was called Yummy Thai. Now it's Maha Thai under new ownership, and sadly the quality and service have gone downhill. I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt I needed to share it. I hope the new owners improve both the food quality and customer service.

FLOWER MOUND HIDDEN GEM 🔥🔥🔥 so good I almost want to gate keep it , everything here is so good! I got the Vietnamese egg rolls and the mango sticky rice 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 so delicious and good portions for the price! I also got the Thai tea w homemade boba! Don’t miss out on the homemade boba balls! 🔥🔥

Honestly, the reviews are from people who can’t adapt to changes. The food was great, very flavorful and most definitely a nice gem. The boba is good and definitely can taste the quality of the tapioca balls. For those being prejudice….you have the pallet of an unseasoned dry chicken served with canned chicken noodle soup.

Have to again commend the staff & chefs here!!! Tofu soup was free & excellent. Grilled quail was a perfect sized appetizer, & great spice mix. Seafood in coconut shell was something I've never seen on a menu before, not a lot of seafood in the shell, but the curry mix was all from the sea. My go to place when I want something different!
