Sign in to reviewWe've been coming here the last few years and they never disappoint. The food is yummy, the customer service is above and beyond. Don't sleep on their Dim Sum... it's delicious.
Lots of vegetarian options but have to ask what's vegan. Yummy food that seems Americanized, I'm used to Chinatown restaurants but it was strange to me that there was basically no one Asian eating there. Our server was sweet and the green beans with tofu were SO delicious. The bathroom smelled like mildew which concerns me because what does the kitchen smell like ...
Judy is a wonderful server! She remembers your favorite foods, your name if you’re a regular, and just create your own entree and they’ll make it for you. The lunch special is a great deal and delicious.
Many vegetarian options. The dumplings were thick and not very tasty. The tofu dish was ordered as spices but came with sweet sauce.
Open late and serving mouthwateringly delicious vegetarian food, this place is an absolute gem! Highly recommend: ✅Chives and vegetarian chicken dumplings – Bursting with amazing flavor. ✅Big Lantern fried rice with meatless chicken – Incredibly flavorful and satisfying. ✅Singapore noodles – Deliciously seasoned and well-balanced. ✅Hot sake – The perfect warm-up on a windy night in SF. ✅Wood ear mushrooms with meatless fish – A bold and flavorful dish, though it would be even better with some complimentary rice. ✅ Spinach tofu soup – A simple, comforting soup that gives a warm, cozy feeling. Also nice: 🆗 Meatless chicken shiu mai – A decent option, though it could use a bit more flavor. 🆗 Chili cucumber – The sauce was delightful, but I’ve seen more refined cucumber preparations. 🆗 String beans with meatless chicken – The dish felt a bit dry and could have used more sauce. The texture of the meatless chicken was nice, though the string beans might not have been the best choice for me. That said, like every dish here, it was packed with flavor. Lively even on a weekday night, this spot offers great prices, a cozy atmosphere, and an unbeatable vegetarian menu. Highly recommend!
