About

Carefree Compounding & Wellness is listed on FindALoco in Phoenix, AZ with address, phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Pharmacy.

Carefree Compounding & Wellness is a pharmacy serving customers in Phoenix, Arizona, at 34975 N Vly Pkwy Ste 130, Phoenix, AZ 85086. Its name points to a focus on compounding and wellness, while the available customer feedback also refers to prescription orders and medications. For people comparing local pharmacies, it is useful to know both what reviewers appreciate and the concerns they have raised about communication and turnaround times.

Customer experiences are mixed. Some reviews describe delays in receiving prescriptions, including reports of orders taking a week or longer and one account of an extended wait after payment. Reviewers also mention difficulty reaching the pharmacy by phone, limited updates, and frustration when medication was needed. These are important considerations for anyone with a time-sensitive prescription. If you are planning to use Carefree Compounding & Wellness, consider confirming the expected preparation or pickup time, checking whether the full order is ready, and asking how the pharmacy will communicate if timing changes.

There is also positive feedback about how the team handled a prescription issue involving confusion between a prescriber and an order. One reviewer said the problem was resolved with integrity and specifically praised the pharmacist in charge. That account offers a different perspective from the complaints and suggests that some customers have felt well supported when an issue was addressed. The overall listing rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 64 reviews, reflecting varied experiences rather than a uniformly positive or negative picture.

Carefree Compounding & Wellness is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and closed on Saturday and Sunday. The Phoenix location may suit people seeking a neighborhood pharmacy and those exploring compounding-related care, but the available information does not specify particular compounded formulations or other services, so contact the pharmacy to confirm whether it can meet your needs. Before relying on a prescription for an upcoming dose, verify the order status and pickup arrangements directly. This practical step is especially relevant given customer reports of slow processing and communication challenges. The address and weekday hours can help you plan an in-person visit, while a direct check with the pharmacy can clarify current availability and timing.

Poorly managed, apathetic, unprofessional, understaffed , consistently disorganized and lacking professionalism of any kind. Never answering the phone or taking responsibility for errors on thier part. The Pharmacist “IN CHARGE” (Larissa) is more interested in asserting her “Power” and arguing than helping create solutions. I will Never try to fill a script with them again. I have had repeated issues and this last interaction where I was told that my package “WAS” delivered , when I had not received it and UPS could not produce proof of such, nor was she interested in helping me in anyway but I refused to listen, and spoke over me, and refused to assist me in any helpful way. Unreal lack of leadership , accountable or Care. Never again. There is one on I-17 and the 101. Excellent Customer service, without the frustration and incompetency.

I was always patient with the slow turnaround time (usually a week or more). Today I got a text in the morning (after waiting over a week and being out of my medication for two days already) to come get a partial fill that would be ready at 5 pm. I was told the pharmacist just needed to verify it and they had all day to do it. When I arrived, I was told the pharmacist didn’t verify it so I stil could not have it. I asked if they could verify it while I waited because I drove all the way there being told it would be ready. I was told by the tech the pharmacist was there around the corner and she could hear me. The pharmacist then said (from around the corner, disrespectfully and not even addressing me face to face) that she is not going to stop what she is doing to verify my medication because I am waiting. I was told she would get to when she gets to it and I would get a text. So I left without my medication going on day three now, and never received a text. I am a medical professional and I am appalled that a customer was treated this way. Needless to say I will not be sending prescriptions for my patients to this pharmacy and will no longer be filling my prescriptions here. The pharmacist is a poor representative of your company.

Not sure what’s happing here as there have been many delays in receiving my script! It has been 17 days since I paid and have not received!!! This company needs to review their efficiency as it has gone down hill with delays and seem like excuses as they do not tell you anything unless you complain!!!

Wow! The customer service here is non existent, especially Kevin but the lady ( whoever name I cannot pronounce) who answers the phone is not all that much more pleasant. I called in well before my thyroid meds needed to be filled. A week AFTER my meds were gone, I would still be without had I not transferred to a MUCH better compounding RX. Kevin could not have been less concerned that I was without thyroid meds and told me “ well a lot of other people are waiting too” because they needed to get a potency review. I asked if I would be called when it came in and he said “ we don’t have that kind of time to call anyone about their prescriptions” I called around and found a MUCH nicer Pharmacy, with very pleasant and helpful people and had my prescriptions transferred. Or so I thought. Kevin told them I have no refills on one of the meds even though I have the bottle in front of me with their label that says 3 refills. If he does not promptly send that along to the new RX, I will look into whatever board I need to contact to file a formal complaint against him personally for withholding my meds. For anyone looking for a compounding pharmacy, there are much better options out there.

There was confusion between my Rx prescriber and the order at Carefree Compounding. They were more than wonderful with the way they fixed the problem and were a stand-up company with integrity. I am extremely impressed with this company and Mrs. Larissa, the PAC.
