Chinese Hospital

The staffs at Chinese Hospital lab were courteous and compassionate. They treated the elderly with patience and kindness, and speaking to them in their native language helped them feel comfortable, respected, and less anxious during their visit. Shout out to Mr. Chen and Ms. Zhou, Ms. Ninh.

My husband, son and I have been going to their amazing Accupuncture Clinic for several years and our Acupuncturist (Emily) has been an important part of our healing journey for our various pains and health conditions. It’s a shame they’re terminating her and most of their staff by end of December. Their clinic provides a critical community service especially to the disadvantaged seniors. They should retain all their Acupuncturists and keep the clinic open!!! Please 🙏!

I came to this hospital 11/11/2025 for my hip surgery and I may say this was by far the greatest experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in and was welcomed by staff to the nurses. I felt as if I was at home and in the right place. They were all very respectful worked as a team and made sure I was calm during the entire procedure. The surgery lasted 5 hours and prior to my arrival I was nervous. By the time they needed to operate I had all my questions answered and no worries! Great place and highly recommended! Keep up the great work and 5 stars all around.

I was waiting at this pharmacy to pick up medication for a relative and witnessed extremely troubling behavior. The pharmacy appears to target Chinese-speaking customers, yet the staff treated monolingual Chinese seniors with disrespect—yelling at them, speaking impatiently, and showing little courtesy, as if the elderly patients were incapable of understanding. What was most disturbing was the contrast in treatment: when a younger, English-speaking non-Asian customer approached the counter, the staff’s attitude immediately changed and they became noticeably more polite and accommodating. This kind of behavior toward elderly and non-English-speaking patients is unacceptable, especially for a pharmacy that serves the Chinese community. Respect and basic courtesy should be given to every patient. The service in their Daly City location is far better.

My mom fell and needed urgent care. After she was admitted, we found out she was extremely malnourished, underweight, and possibly developing sepsis. Dr. Yang and the staff were incredibly attentive and compassionate — they took the time to patiently explain everything to us and made sure my mom received the care she needed. Dr. Yang even ordered a full-body scan to get to the bottom of what was going on. The staff were so patient and nurturing with my mom. As you can imagine, she was frightened being in the hospital by herself after hours, but they made her feel safe and cared for. I’m so thankful we brought her here. The entire team went above and beyond — my mom even cried when she was transferred to the nursing home because she didn’t want to leave! She said staying at Chinese Hospital felt “like being at a 5-star hotel.” Thank you, Chinese Hospital, for being truly incredible!
