First time at the ICU,ER for anything, and the experience went by so quickly and smoothly I was surprised. I came in for serotonin syndrome and was seen and treated immediately. The nurses were the absolute highlight of my stay there. Duke, Petra, Kelly, Liz, Patty and Helise were all amazing. I was assisted very quickly every time I pressed the call button. Petra talked to me about nurse experience since I’ve been considering the medical field, and Kelly let me talk her ear off about video games. 😂 The cleaning staff was excellent too and even helped me move one time even though they are not part of the nursing staff. They also provided 3 meals a day which were quite good (I just didn’t have much of an appetite due to my syndrome.) I was able to be released in about 3 days which I was grateful for such a quick response. They provided me with a packet of follow up information and specialists to see after discharge. Overall it was a quite pleasant experience and I just wanted to make a shout out to all the wonderful employees who helped me!

I’ve heard good things about this hospital but not my overall experience. I had a handful of great nurses that were genuine about my care and went above and beyond: jasmine karma viennly Jinny Tiffany Greta. I was discriminated against by 3 nurses For being transgender Rick and Jessica 4th floor and another Asian descent from the 3rd floor. Called to put in cafeteria order and they were already sending it up. I asked for a bagel instead of an enlglish muffin. They wouldn’t accommodate it so I asked for atleast a fruit cup and she never said you’re welcome when I said thank you. Just hung up. Another time I called in a smoothie and it never came. I was sent home on discharge day with no supplies at all. It’s the only hospital I’ve ever been to that didn’t give a bag of mesh underwear and bath wipes to say the least after a major surgery and they were really gonna let me leave without my medication that I came with. Idk why I brought it but if I didn’t remember, I wouldn’t have it. It was in their pharmacy, I didn’t even know they had a pharmacy there. So crazy, I would never come back here.

Stephen from billing, nurse Liz, and Dr. Beardsley are all phenomenal, thorough, and very lovely. The gentlemen who helped me with my CT scan was also incredibly kind and thoughtful; he made sure i had warm blankets the entire time. The security guards were also very nice and friendly. This ER is the most efficient and straightforward ER I've ever been to in any part of the city or country. They listen, dont push unnecessary medications, thoroughly rule out factors, and speak with compassion.

I went to this Sutter hospital campus for a simple ER visit to rule out appendicitis and left with a staggering $17,000 bill. No surgery was performed, no procedures were done, and there were no incisions or extensive treatments — just a CT scan and evaluation. What makes this even more outrageous is that a local hospital less than 60 miles away charged nearly 15 times less for a very similar visit. I have good insurance through my employer, and the cost is still financially overwhelming. I honestly cannot understand how a routine ER visit could reasonably cost this much. I contacted the hospital hoping they could offer some kind of financial assistance, adjustment, or discount given how excessive the charges are, but I was told there was nothing they could do. Healthcare costs like this are unacceptable. Most people cannot afford a $17,000 emergency room bill for basic diagnostic care. I strongly encourage anyone considering this hospital to carefully review costs beforehand because this experience felt like outright price gouging.

Tiffany Tang did it again. I am a dog groomer and I met T.T for my right elbow and grooming brought me back in for my left elbow. Her methods of physical therapy are 100% on point. I am so happy I had her on my recovery. Consistent therapy sessions with Tiffany along with rest and stretching made my elbow pain go away and I am able to use it again. Today I graduated from PT and it's bitter sweet because I will miss Tiffany but I am so happy my elbow is much better. I have no more pain while grooming and working out. Thanks again Tiffany. Highly recommend her for pt of the hand and arm.
