Stopped in after my pet’s vet appointment because I was starving and needed something quick. I ordered two sandwiches, the combo and the pork banh mi, so my husband and I could share and get a taste of both. I’ve definitely had better banh mis. The pâté in the combo looked and tasted like liverwurst straight from a can and was simply spread on, which wasn’t very appealing. The pork banh mi was very salty, and I even pulled out some of the meat from the combo because it was so fatty. Honestly, the bread ended up being the best part of both sandwiches. It filled the immediate hunger, but it’s not something I’d go out of my way for again, especially with so many good banh mi options in San Francisco.

This is one of those local bakeries that flies under the radar. It’s cozy, simple, and definitely not flashy or trendy—but that’s part of its charm. It feels like a neighborhood spot rather than a destination café, and while it’s usually pretty quiet inside, you can tell it has its regulars, especially during the lunch rush. What absolutely steals the show for me is their Vietnamese sandwich. It’s honestly one of my comfort foods. The sandwiches are huge—especially for the price point, which feels more than fair. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and the bread deserves its own praise: it’s crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside (not flaky), which makes every bite satisfying. I usually don’t stay to eat, but I do want to mention how kind the owner is. She’s genuinely sweet and thoughtful—she once told me that if I’m ever in a rush, I can call ahead to place my order. And if they don’t pick up the first time, she encouraged me to call back again and reassured me they’d take care of it. That small interaction really stuck with me and says a lot about the care they have for their customers.

It's an incredible sandwich! The cookies are chewie and home made ! Lovely! I went back again. I go there often. 5-12-19: I got pastries & #16! That sandwich is heavenly. 11/10/19: the turkey & cheese breakfast bagel was great! Then I also bought cookies, a cherry turnover, a meat & cheese hand pie, & a chocolate bun. Yum! 12/22/19: The bagel, cheese, sausage sandwich is wonderful. The breakfast burrito is hearty! The cookies are fresh!

This is a local sandwich place around the neighborhood, there are not much choice in this little plaza. I ordered the hot pastrami, good taste and the size are full. The lady will ask you if you want cheese, remind you that it’s extra 1 dollar for cheese. I will come back next time

Awesome pastrami sandwich, tastes as good as it looks, yummy. However if you want to dine in you better bring your own restroom! They don't allow the use of their restroom, you have to leave the restaurant and walk about 1000 feet and up some stairs and around a building to use a park restroom. Providing it is open! Or walk down to Safeway and use theirs! Bad situation...
