Holsum Bakery Inc.

Holsum Bakery Inc. is a bakery in Phoenix, Arizona, at 18631 N 19th Ave Ste 110, Phoenix, AZ 85027. Customer feedback describes a shop where shoppers can find packaged bakery favorites and bread alongside opportunities to save on selected items. If you are looking for Tastykake products or a broad selection of Dave’s Killer Bread, reviewers say those are among the draws. The mix may appeal to people stocking up on familiar brands, comparing prices, or making a quick stop for everyday bread and treats rather than seeking a sit-down bakery experience.

Value is a recurring reason customers mention visiting Holsum Bakery Inc. One reviewer says Tastykake products are available at a reasonable price, while another sums up the appeal as saving money. Several shoppers describe prices as very reasonable and shelves as well stocked, though value can vary by product: a reviewer noted that some packaged cookies cost substantially more than the same items at Walmart. It may be useful to compare prices if you have a particular item in mind. The business has a 4.6-star rating from 169 reviews, but the comments reflect different visits and expectations, so experiences are not uniform.

The selection is described as including packaged cookies, Tastykake treats, and a large range of Dave’s Killer Bread. Customers have also praised the store’s product selection and stocked shelves, while other reviewers reported seeing few items or sparse shelves during their visits. That contrast suggests availability may vary, and it is sensible to keep an open mind if you are shopping for a specific product. The store itself has been described as a tight fit, even for a small cart, so shoppers who need extra room may want to plan for a compact retail space. Reviews mention friendly-enough staff as well as visits where customers felt they were not greeted or helped promptly.

For planning, the listed hours are Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; Wednesday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. The business is listed as closed Sunday. Some reviewers report arriving to find the shop closed or finding limited merchandise, so if timing or a specific item is important, checking before making a special trip may help. One customer also mentioned construction on streets approaching the location, which may affect access at times. Overall, Holsum Bakery Inc. may suit Phoenix shoppers interested in familiar packaged treats, bread, and potential bargains, with the understanding that product availability, service, and prices can differ from one visit to another.
