JL Patisserie is a bakery at 4700 N Central Ave, Suite 121, in Phoenix, AZ. It is a local stop for pastries and coffee, with customer reviews mentioning croissants, a cream-filled cruffin, and a seasonal Hawaiian Latte. Whether you are looking for a morning pastry, a sweet treat, or coffee to go with your order, this Phoenix address offers a straightforward way to explore what the bakery has on display. Its listed rating is 4.5 stars from 728 reviews, giving visitors a useful snapshot of customer feedback while leaving room for individual tastes and experiences.

The cruffin is one of the items that draws particular attention. One reviewer describes it as very sweet and filled with cream or custard, and says it lived up to the anticipation. That makes it a natural choice for guests who enjoy rich, dessert-like pastries rather than a lightly sweet breakfast. Croissants also appear in customer feedback: one visitor says theirs arrived promptly and was so enjoyable that more than half was gone before the coffee arrived. These are individual impressions, not a guarantee of what will be available on a given visit, but they offer a concrete sense of the pastries customers have tried.

Coffee is part of the experience, too. A review highlights a seasonal Hawaiian Latte ordered half-sweetened, describing its flavor as tropical. If you prefer less sweetness, that review may be a helpful reminder that asking about sweetness options can be worthwhile; the available choices may vary. Another customer found the coffee arrived a couple of minutes after the croissant, while a separate Friday-morning visit reported a line of about six people that moved quickly, with ordering taking around five minutes. Service timing and wait times can change, but these reports give prospective visitors practical context.

Experiences at JL Patisserie are not uniform. Some customers speak enthusiastically about the cruffin and pastries, while at least one reviewer felt the pastries were simply okay for the price and preferred another nearby bakery. That difference is worth keeping in mind: the cruffin may appeal most to people who enjoy sweet, cream-filled treats, while guests comparing value or seeking a particular pastry style may have their own preferences. Reviewers also mention kind, direct ordering service. For Phoenix residents and visitors near North Central Avenue, JL Patisserie can be considered for a pastry-and-coffee stop, with its signature mentions, recent customer opinions, and central Phoenix location in mind. Check directly for current offerings and details before visiting, since hours and availability are not provided here.

I stopped by after seeing all the controversy on Instagram, and I have to say I agree with what Aurora was pointing out. The pastries here are okay, but nothing about them feels exceptional for the price. I’ve been to Paris Baguette just down the road, and I would recommend it 100% over JL Patisserie in terms of both quality and value. We ended up paying $32 for 2 coffees and 2 ham & cheese croissants, which felt steep considering the croissants were pretty standard. My friend paid $65 for 5 pastries and a coffee, and even she left feeling underwhelmed. At those prices, you expect something memorable—better flavor, better texture, or at least something that stands out from other bakeries. The shop itself is cute and the presentation is nice, but overall the products don’t match the premium they’re charging. With so many great options nearby, especially Paris Baguette, JL Patisserie just didn’t live up to the hype for us.

JL Patisserie 4700 N Central Ave ste. 121, Phoenix, AZ 85012 For sale: My Tea 4750 N Central Ave. During my recent visit to JL Patisserie, located at 4700 N Central Ave, Suite 121 in Phoenix, AZ, I was there primarily to photograph my latest listing, which includes both the business and building of My Tea at 4750 N Central Ave. Next door JL Patisserie is a delightful bakery known for its artisanal pastries and inviting atmosphere. On this occasion, I was thrilled to find a selection of four distinct types of croissants, each crafted with care and precision. I couldn't resist adding a pistachio croissant to my order, and it was an absolute revelation. With just one bite of the pistachio croissant, I felt as if I had been transported to a culinary paradise. The rich, nutty flavor combined with the flaky, buttery layers created a heavenly experience. I had initially planned to share these delectable treats with my girlfriends, but the temptation was too great; I found myself wanting to indulge in every last bite. JL Patisserie not only excels in flavor but also in presentation, making it a perfect spot for both pastry lovers and those looking to enjoy a cozy atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for a quick treat or planning a gathering, this bakery is sure to impress.

Had to try the infamous cruffin, and boy it’s worth the hype!! It is super sweet and filled with cream/custard. Also tried the seasonal Hawaiian Latte half sweetened which tasted tropical! This locations parking is way better than the one …

Arrived to place an order Friday morning. Walked right in and there was a line of about six people ahead of me. The line moved pretty quickly and I was ordering in about five minutes. The person taking my order was kind and to the point. I didn’t see a restroom inside the cafe itself. There were plenty of tables and chairs to sit at both inside and outside of the shop. As the doors are constantly being opened, it was very hot inside of the store. I picked up a ham & cheese croissant, a pistachio croissant, and a maple latte. They had my parties out pretty quickly but the drink took a while and the barista didn’t have a very good attitude. The flavor of the croissants was buttery and delicious. However, the ham inside the ham & cheese was all on one side! There is a small parking lot located in front.
