Sign in to reviewAbsolutely unacceptable behavior from the pharmacist! I’m shocked by how rude and disrespectful the pharmacist at this location was. They cut me off, wouldn’t let me explain anything, and hung up on me mid-sentence — more than once. This wasn’t just bad service — it felt like being verbally slapped. I left the conversation feeling humiliated and shaken, like someone had dumped a bucket of garbage over me. No one should ever be treated this way. Ever. I honestly can’t believe this person is allowed to work with the public.
I've known this pharmacy for over 20 years. The owner clearly cares about the patients. I was a pharmaceutical rep back in 2002. One day he was trying relentlessly to get a prior authorization through for one of my company's drugs. He impressed me so much with his effort that it compelled me to do what I could from my end. I was able to get authorization for a free 90 day supply for the patient while he fought with insurance. Eventually the patient's insurance approved it. The pharmacists at the big stores would never have taken the amount of time or effort.
Called this pharmacy to inquire about a medication on patients behalf as they wanted it sent there. There is no information anywhere as to what kind of pharmacy they are, hence the calling to confirm if they dispense the said medication. the guy was unnecessarily rude, never said what his name was but if he is a pharmacist I pitty the patients who have to deal with him. Simply saying we dont carry said medication should be enough instead of yelling profanities at a medical professional who is just trying to help their patients or maybe update your business info to specify what kind of pharmacy they are. Definitely will not be sending any patient prescription here ever.
I have been a customer of Joe's Pharmacy for over 2 years. My pharmacist is Tony, and he is fantastic. He has assisted me through two insurance changes, my doctor retiring, and my recent new doctor. He never allowed me to be without my medicine that is required to be taken daily. The latest event was when my insurance company wasn't allowing the renewal of my medicine, even though my doctor had authorized it. Tony had stayed after work, at 8:00 pm, dealing with the insurance company as my medicine was running out the next day. He had to speak with several representatives and supervisors, and explain they were mistaken. Tony won, and they approved the medicine the next morning for the next year. Tony will fight for his customers, can you say that about the next door chain pharmacy? Thank you Tony.
I called this pharmacy to ask if they had a certain medication, in the course of the conversation I mentioned that I only needed a few pills, but before I could explain that I understood that he would need to prescribe a month's worth, he started getting so upset, shouting at me to use another pharmacy, what would he do with the extra pills, just don't bother him with this, etc. I just hung up, I don't need to be yelled at like that! So unprofessional!
