About

Ken Jewelry is listed on FindALoco in San Francisco, CA with address, phone, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Jewelry Repair Service.

Ken Jewelry is a jewelry repair service located at 3525 20th St in San Francisco, California, serving people who need practical help with watches and jewelry. The business is a neighborhood option for bringing in pieces that require attention rather than replacing them outright. Customer feedback highlights clear, efficient repair visits and reasonable pricing, and its 4.8 rating across 35 reviews offers useful context for prospective customers. Whether a watch has stopped running, needs a new battery, or a treasured item needs professional attention, Ken Jewelry is a local place to ask about repair needs in San Francisco, CA, for both routine fixes and more involved watch maintenance before committing to a larger repair.

Watch work is a notable part of the service described by customers. Reviews mention battery changes for modern watches, resizing a vintage watch, and cleaning and lubricating vintage spring-wound watches. One customer reports a battery replacement and vintage-watch resize completed in under five minutes, while another says a 30-year-old Tag Heuer watch was repaired within a week. These examples make Ken Jewelry especially relevant for owners of everyday watches as well as older or sentimental timepieces. Specific repair timing and cost can depend on the item and work involved, so discussing the piece directly is a sensible first step. Customers can use those examples as a guide rather than a guarantee for every item.

Customers also describe Ken as accommodating, attentive, and reasonably priced, qualities that matter when leaving a personal accessory or heirloom for service. The repair-focused setting is best suited to visitors who value a direct, local transaction and who want to speak with a specialist about what their item needs. As with any repair, experiences and outcomes can vary by material, condition, and complexity. Bringing questions about the item's issue, any relevant history, and desired repair helps set expectations. The shop itself is small; one reviewer notes that only a few customers fit inside at once, so it may be most comfortable to plan a short visit or wait nearby.

Ken Jewelry is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM; it is closed Sunday. Its 20th Street address places it in a walkable part of San Francisco, and one customer mentions getting coffee next door at Tadaima while waiting. That nearby option can be convenient for quick battery changes or drop-offs, though service time will naturally vary. For San Francisco residents seeking jewelry repair service support for watch batteries, resizing, maintenance, or other repair questions, Ken Jewelry provides a straightforward local stop at 3525 20th St, San Francisco, CA 94110.

Ken is the best! It was my first time coming here and he changed the battery and resized my vintage watch in under 5 minutes. His rates are very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back here for any of my watch repair needs in the future.

Got vintage, spring wound watches? Here is a good place to have them cleaned and lubricated, also change the battery in more modern watches. Ken is a great all-around jewelry repair guy. Have a great cup of coffee nextdoor at Tadaima while you wait, people watch the young crowd hanging out there.

Great service and prices! Ken fixed my 30 year old Tag Heuer watch for $200 within a week. The same service at Tag Heuer would have cost $285 plus tax. The only caveat is that his store is small and only a few customers can fit at time.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Worst customer experience of my life. I brought in a delicate chain to get repaired. He charged me 30$ and told me to come back the next day. I returned and picked up my chain. Looked to be fixed properly and went about my day. I went to put the charm on a few days later and put the chain on with the charm that came with it but couldn’t get it on because it was a different clasp. Also the chain was much longer than the one I brought in. I figured maybe he made a mistake so I came back to the store to inquire about it. This man was completely irate, yelling at me and telling me there’s no mistake and that he didn’t change the chain or clasp. He was unable to explain why the clasp was different and why the chain was a different length. I tried to support a local business and this is the thanks I get. The chain is useless since I can’t wear it with my charm. It’s really sad and disappointing and I’m sorry I ever walked in there. Be careful going to this store, this man is obviously not trustworthy.
