Summary: I was charged $30 for them to ruin my nails. Avoid if you care about your natural nails. My finished result was sloppy. Don't come here if you need to get anything off your nails because the method she did with my nails was wicked. I'm sure they have decent nail tech though. Don't be intimidated by the length, just an honest review. Don't come here if you care about the health of your actual nails. I'm not sure how their service is when it comes to extensions and generally the ladies here were nice in my experience. I would like to mention that I do have a personal nail tech but due to her being out of town, I needed to go else where to get my gel off. I've gotten 2 set of hard gel overlay done in a row, my nails were strong and healthy enough to support a 3rd set if I wanted (couldn't get another because of school). I came in to get my hard gel overlay off. I was shocked when she began to attempt to cut the gel off my nails with cuticle clippers at the ends of my nails. No soak, no drill, no acetone. Only soaked my nails in water to cut my cuticles. She only began to use the drill when she could not successfully cut through the gel to reach my natural nail. From there she stuck a gel x nail extension in between my natural nail and the gel to peel off the gel. From my understanding you drill, buff, and soak with acetone to get most of the gel off, either way I was just sad to see how aggressive she was being with my nails. It only mattered to me because I have been trying to grow out my natural nails for a long, ling time and finally got them healthy enough to do so recently. If peeling the gel off my nails was the solution I would have done it myself at home, I was hoping to come to someone who cared about my nail health, instead she shredded them with the peeling. She ended up ripping my pinkie nail and I don't believe that would have happened if she didn't remove the gel with her method. I didn't want to cut my nails at all, but with the rip I had to. I will give her credit for keeping as much length as possible. When it came to the filing, again I could have do that at home and in the end they looked very sloppy. She convinced me to do a clear coat and proceeded to paint them with fluff from the towel still on the ends, so I have those fibers under my clear coat and currently hanging off the ends of my nails. There's really no point in keeping the length due to how brittle and weak my nails are now. I ended up refilling myself and putting a proper, clean top coat on. To top it all off she charged me $30, which felt very over priced for the quality of service I received. I understand inflation is a thing, but seriously? I also needed the gel off my toe nails, but I couldn't bare to stay any longer. I do not recommend. Find a nail tech who cares.
I made an appointment in early in the week on Tuesday in advance for a Sunday knowing they probably get busy and they never wrote down my appointment! I’m extremely upset I had an appointment at 11 and they were super slammed in there, so clearly they don’t respect appointments. Loved the service the first time but I won’t be back.
Was surprised they were able to squeeze me in on a Saturday. Tina did an amazing job on these black French tips, and easily the best prices I've seen in the area... Will def be back!! 🖤 …
Tina & Maureen were amazing! They're genuine, kind and professional all while treating customers as if they were family. I will definitely be back!
