Naghi's Jewelry is a jewelry store in New Orleans, Louisiana, at 800 Royal St in the city’s 70130 ZIP code. For visitors exploring local jewelry, the shop offers a chance to browse distinctive pieces in person, take time trying on rings, and speak with people who can share knowledge about jewelry history. Customer reviews describe beautiful, unusual finds, including vintage rings, a citrine cocktail ring, and engagement-ring styles. If you are looking for a piece with character rather than simply browsing a standard selection, Naghi's Jewelry may be worth adding to your New Orleans shopping itinerary.

Rings are a recurring highlight in customer accounts. One visitor found a citrine cocktail ring after trying on several options, while another describes returning for beautiful vintage rings and appreciates how older designs reflect the architecture of their era. Reviews also mention engagement rings, including interest in vintage styles. These experiences suggest the store may appeal to shoppers searching for a distinctive ring, a special-occasion piece, or jewelry with a sense of history. Selection can change, so contact the shop or visit to see what is currently available; the reviews do not establish that any particular stone, style, or item will always be in stock.

The atmosphere is described by some visitors as welcoming and unhurried. Customers mention patient assistance while they considered different rings, as well as knowledgeable conversation about jewelry history and hospitable service. That kind of visit can suit someone who prefers to browse carefully, ask questions, and compare pieces before deciding. Naghi's Jewelry has a 4.3-star rating from 72 reviews, with a range of experiences represented. While some customers praise the selection, service, and prices, others report concerns about the durability or authenticity of materials and about repair work. These are customer accounts, not independently verified findings, but they make it sensible to clarify details before purchase or service.

Before choosing a ring or arranging work on a piece, ask for a clear explanation of materials, construction, care requirements, pricing, and any repair or sizing terms. If a description includes gold, stones, or other precious materials, confirm exactly what is included and request written details where appropriate. This is especially useful for higher-priced pieces or jewelry entrusted for alteration. The store is listed as open Monday through Friday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday is listed as closed. Hours and availability may change, so check before making a dedicated trip. For visitors and locals alike, Naghi's Jewelry offers a personal place to explore rings and distinctive jewelry in New Orleans while making an informed choice at their own pace.

Not worth the price. I bought 2 silver rings with gold. They said the gold wasn’t gold plated and wouldn’t come off from washing hands but would if scratched. Each ring was $350-400. Welp from light usage and just water, half the gold has come off after only a couple months of light usage. Not worth the money.

A ring in the store front display caught my eye and pulled me into the store. The store has some really gorgeous and unique jewelry. I've been wanting a citrine cocktail ring and found the perfect one at the shop at a fair price. Efi was very patient with me as I took my time trying on many different rings and contemplating my purchase.

Update, November 2023. Another wonderful visit, and another beautiful vintage ring. It was lovely to visit, and I am already looking forward to the next time. As always, thank you! I love vintage jewelry, especially engagement rings. I love how they reflect the architecture of the age, and each one has a story even if we never learn what it is. I also have a favorite antique jewelry store in the French Quarter, Naghi's. I got to visit this store and picked up a 1920’s ring the day before going on a cruise. Sunday morning, as I was packing up, I noticed I had lost the diamond out of the setting. I had an hour before the taxi was due, so I jogged down to the shop. Efi, the owner, was shocked. He was protesting that he had never seen that happen, and that he personally inspected all items before they go in the case. I was half talking over him that I have never had a problem with anything I’ve purchased there, and he sells great quality jewelry. Efi offered to replace the ring. I think he saw the look on my face – I wanted That one. Efi then offered to replace the diamond, but warned me that he might not have another old mine cut. No problem! I chose the ring, not the rock. I told Efi that if he had any odd, strange colored diamonds, that would work, too. I like the odd ones. Twenty minutes later I headed back to the shop to see a couple of stones. Efi had a purplish blue-gray and another one that couldn’t decide if it was brown, yellow, or green. I chose the warm colors to go with the setting and headed for the boat. Fast-forward a few hours. I’m in my state room unpacking, and in the bottom of my backpack, there’s a glint. It was the lost diamond. I immediately called Efi. “You’re not going to believe this!” Though I had found the original stone, I requested a trade, and he agreed. A week later, I was back in the shop, and gave him back his clear diamond, happily taking possession of my little gremlin rock. Efi had completely rebuilt the progs to assure this would not happen again. My friends and I visited again before our vacation was over, and we each chose a ring to take home, to remember the trip, to honor each other, and to satisfy that magpie instinct that loves something shiny.

I had a diamond engagement ring I brought to them so it can be sized for my fiancés finger. It was an Ethiopian opal centered with a band that was covered in diamonds. They replaced half of the diamonds with fakes and a few empty slots left they didn’t even bother replacing after stealing, they must have ran out of zirconia that would fit. Absolute trash.

The highlight of my trip is visiting this couple. They are so knowledgeable on history of Jewelry and so very hospitable. Go see them and tell them Red from Mississippi sent you. They are a true treat and their prices are very fair.
