Providence Home Health - Portland is listed in Portland, Oregon as a hospital, with a location at 6410 NE Halsey St, Portland, OR 97213. The business information provided and customer reviews point to home-health-related equipment and support, including CPAP supplies, help with a CPAP machine, wound-vac referrals, and breast-pump orders. If you are looking for assistance with one of these needs, contact the office to confirm whether it handles your specific request, what documentation or referral may be required, and whether your insurance applies. The available information does not establish which services are currently offered or whether a particular item is covered, so confirming those details directly can help set clear expectations before placing an order or arranging care.
The office’s listed hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and it is closed Saturday and Sunday. Its address places it on NE Halsey Street in Portland, which can help when planning a visit or identifying the correct office. The reviews describe experiences involving phone conversations, equipment orders, referrals, and billing, so customers may find it useful to keep order confirmations, referral details, delivery information, and notes from calls together. Before relying on a shipment or scheduled service, ask how progress will be communicated, who to contact with questions, and what steps to take if an order or referral does not arrive as expected.
Customer feedback is mixed and includes serious concerns. The business has a listed rating of 2.6 from 40 reviews. Several reviewers report problems with CPAP orders, delayed or unexpected billing, and difficulty getting wound-vac referrals completed. One reviewer describes a frustrating breast-pump delivery issue after a package was reportedly stolen. These are individual accounts rather than a guarantee of what another customer will experience, but they are relevant when deciding what to clarify in advance. Ask for written confirmation of the items ordered, expected costs, insurance responsibility, delivery arrangements, and the process for resolving missing equipment or disputed charges.
There is also a positive account from a customer who says a phone visit about a failing CPAP machine with a staff member named Jack left them feeling hopeful and supported, and who recognized respect and compassion in the interaction. That experience offers a more personal perspective alongside the operational concerns raised by other reviewers. Providence Home Health - Portland may be worth contacting for people in Portland seeking information about the equipment or referral needs described in customer feedback, especially if they want to discuss their situation directly with the office. For a more informed decision, explain what you need, verify current availability and insurance details, and ask how the office will document and follow up on your request.

Called an talked to a real person at the end of the year cause i met my deductable for the year. To order cpap gear. Placed my order an never recieved it. Now there telling me i have to pay my deductable because of there incompatence. They say there is now record of me calling. My cell phone has the call . Recorded the date an time. This place is horrible service will find someplace else to get your equipment.
I would give a 0 if I could. The billing at this place is the worst I have ever experienced. I have been ordering replacement parts for my cpap and never received a bill or statement from them until today January 6th 2025. On the statement is a order from November 2022. That is two years ago! No statement, no call about paying the bill, NOTHING!!! I have had similar issues with this in the past, bad enough that it went to collections and my ex and I were never notified that we owed them money. Do not use this place!
Yesterday I had a phone visit with Jack regarding my failing C-Pap machine. At the end of our visit I felt hopeful and renewed in spirit! As I reflected on my experience, I remembered that 2 of the core values of Providence are Respect and Compassion. Thank you, Jack, for sharing those values with me!
Over 2 weeks trying to set up wound vac, multiple referrals sent and continue to claim no blame for failure to fulfill referrals via fax. Another layer of ever growing levels of failure with Providence as a whole. Any where else would be better then this garbage provider
So I ordered my breast pump through this company covered by my insurance. It was stolen off my front porch. They won't replace it. Most good and great companies replace the stolen item for the customer and work with the delivery provider for reimbursement. Especially when the customer has video proof of the theft and a police report and is expecting a baby in a couple weeks. No such luck, because they use a Senvoy delivery service that doesn't have insurance and their driver left the package in plan view of the street for the thief to see as they were driving by. This company had the audacity to ask me to file a claim with my home owners insurance, yeah because it makes sense for me to pay $1000 deductible for a $299 breast-pump? What happened to customer service? Oh right this company is dealing with insurance and medical needs so it's all about profit and nothing to do with the customer. If this is your only option for getting your supplies, I"m sorry for you and I recommend you have them delivered to your work place. Do this so you aren't left paying out of pocket for an item that gets stolen and yet they will get paid for by your insurance company. What this company will offer you is a couple of useless phone calls that only make you more upset that they aren't willing to provide you the breast pump that you need and was rightfully covered by insurance.
