Sign in to reviewYou don’t know SF if you’ve never been to Punjab. The food does. not. miss. The mission might be known for Latin food but this place is a gem. Can’t go wrong with anything - the Pho is big enough to feed 2 very hungry people. The family style dinner options they offer are incredible value. Haven’t met a plate here that I don’t like. The service is stupendous. Same person everyday. They have a countertop bar if you want to come alone, especially recommended on a rainy day.
This is the best place I’ve ever been to, egg rolls are so good that we ordered some more togo. They give you complimentary hot tea as well. Servings are huge. Wish I lived out here because I’d be at this restaurant all the time!
They were super nice and brought me hot tea right away while I was still viewing the menu. It was rainy so I really appreciated that All the food was absolutely delicious and fresh and came out so fast! I did arrive at 12pm so there was basically nobody else at the time. They also brought me ice water. Highly recommend, will definitely be frequenting this place more!!! Edit: they also boxed up my leftovers for me and were again super communicative!
Won ton soup Broth, flavorful. Garlic chicken , crispy and delicious 😋 came to eat during Carnival and this was the perfect spot to rest our feet and enjoy a delicious meal. Plenty of space to sit and eat, there were only two women tending to the customers and they did a fantastic job. I was pleasantly surprised and Would recommend to others.
Pleasantly surprising in taste and decor, a rare-find Chinese-Vietnamese treasure not to be judged by its exterior. Hidden behind a decades old signage is an Asian diner that remains a time capsule from the 1970s, serving Vietnamese noodle soups, Chinese stir-fries and unique combination rice platters. #12 Pho Crispy Five Spice Chicken Noodle Soup — a solid broth, rice noodle soup served with fragrant, batterless, deep-fried bone-in chicken reminiscent of quail. Yum! #10 Bun Bo Hue, deep in flavor but likely not the cornerstone house special. A newfound favorite showcasing the special timelessness of San Francisco Asian cuisine.
