About

SalonCentric is listed on FindALoco in New Orleans, LA with address, phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Beauty Supply Store.

SalonCentric is a beauty supply store at 4200 Canal St Ste A, New Orleans, Louisiana 70119, serving local beauty professionals looking for a nearby place to shop for salon products. Customer feedback describes the location as especially useful for licensed hairstylists, and one reviewer calls it a “best place for licensed stylist.” If you are planning a visit, check the store’s current shopping requirements directly, since reviews raise questions about who may shop there and policies can change. The New Orleans store has a 4.3-star rating from 21 reviews, reflecting a mix of positive experiences and concerns worth considering before you go.

For shoppers looking for a specific item, calling ahead may help. One customer said they phoned to confirm that Paul Mitchell Super Sculpt Lotion was available, then found it in stock and received helpful assistance from the cashier. That experience offers a practical example of how SalonCentric can support a professional searching for a particular hair product locally. Other reviews, however, report that some product lines may be only partly available or that items can be out of stock. Availability can vary, so checking on a product before making the trip is a sensible step, especially when you need a particular brand or item.

The customer-service feedback is mixed. Some visitors describe helpful, polite assistance, including a reviewer who was pleased with the cashier’s answers and support. Other reviewers report unfriendly interactions, difficulty reaching the store by phone, and frustration with being asked to use an app during checkout. These experiences are individual accounts rather than a guarantee of what your visit will be like, but they provide useful context: customers who value a smooth visit may want to call ahead, confirm availability, and allow time for the shopping process. The reviews point most clearly to a store geared toward salon professionals, rather than a general beauty retailer with a consistently broad selection.

SalonCentric is open Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is closed Sunday. These hours make weekday visits possible after an early start, while Saturday offers a shorter shopping window. Hours and product availability may change, so confirm details before traveling. For licensed stylists in New Orleans, SalonCentric may be a convenient local stop for checking on professional hair supplies, including a requested product such as Paul Mitchell Super Sculpt Lotion. Its strongest fit is for shoppers who know what they need and are prepared to verify stock and access requirements in advance.

I don't understand why places like this continue to hire people who have zero social skills or are always in a bad mood there is one super polite easy to get along with hardworking person that works in there and the rest of the girls are grumpy and give you dirty looks don't say good morning back to you or even thank you when you acknowledge them I mean it's just getting to the point where it's ridiculous there's no excuse for a bad mood when you are the face of retail and customer service. It's unacceptable and we should all stop putting up with these girls with bad attitudes working at front desks. More people need to speak up about this! Our entire industry is customer service and there's no reason why everyone shouldn't be trained on how to behave properly when you work the front desk.

Truly sad that as professionals we are limited to relying on your company to supply us locally. If there is a product line only half is carried, always out of something, cant get anyone to answer a phone, and im constantly being asked about downloading an app to check out. I have money and a hair license, why do i need an app? For the love of god someone else open a salon centric in orleans parish.

Your website says you have to have a license to shop here. So how was Gyosy Rose Blanchard allowed to shop here without a license? Make it make sense.... So if she can do it so can the public 😏 …

It was great! I called first to see if my item was in stock and it was. The cashier was very helpful and told me that it was. I say that because the distributor for Paul Mitchell has closed and I needed the Super Sculpt Lotion. I went in and they had it. Again the cashier helped answering any questions that I had and was knowledgeable on the subject. I just wasn't sure if it was the right one because the consistency wasn't what I remembered so I got the glaze AND the LOTION! And I'm glad I did. Thanks Salon Centric
