Poptart was excellent, and while the almond croissant wasn't what I expected (almond butter a little strange in the mix - not bad though!) I enjoyed it. Sent a friend from Pittsburgh home with the chai drop scone and the spinach and artichoke tart, which they looked super stoked about. Lovely vegan baked goods all around, and if you can plan ahead it's well worth your time and money.
Vegan pastries are a rare find. That’s one of the biggest reasons these are special. Each pastry is also attractive, fresh, and delicious. Be sure to ring the bell for service. Highly recommend the mango galette and jalapeño cream cheese galette.
When I come to CA, I’m always looking for a new vegan bakery to try.. 😋 SPLIT BAKEHOUSE 10/10! My gosh.. everything I bought was delicious. The best part is the delicate balance of sugar in it all. You’d think the Pineapple Passionfruit Cruffin may be very sweet - nuh uh! Flaky, tastes like a real fruity jelly inside. Excellent attention to detail and pastry skills! The woman at the front window was sweet, patient, and helpful - she even told me what’s best to enjoy same day and which ones can be enjoyed in the next couple days. ❤️
Fully vegan pastries, and desserts!! I ordered a number of things and they were all delicious. You can no longer go inside the café, but you order at the window and take your items to go. It is a little hard to find the location. However, if you put in the mall food court area that will take you very close to the front door.
The largest variety of vegan baked goods we've ever seen! We ended up getting a selection and each item was incredible. Can't wait to be back in SD mostly to visit this bakery again!
