I needed a cupcake cake for my daughter‘s college graduation party. Anna made the cakes and they came out beautiful. I asked her to make 2026 representing the year my daughter‘s graduating. Also, I asked her to do the colors of the school, San Diego State University red black-and-white and she did and I have to say I got compliments on how it taste tasted. It tasted wonderful and it looked awesome ! thank you Anna You are amazing!

Besides the actively decomposing fruit, moldy meat, painfully slow cashiers who move at glacial speed, and horrible baggers who seem genuinely confused by the concept of groceries…. This place sucks! Off to Ralphs we go.

I had a very disappointing experience at 8011 university Ave, La Mesa Vons on my last 2 visits due to the poor customer service and unprofessional behavior from the associates. Instead of being helpful and respectful, the employee was rude, and seemed annoyed when I asked a simple question. It made the entire visit uncomfortable and frustrating. Customer service should be about treating people with respect, but unfortunately that was completely missing during my visit. Management should seriously work on staff professionalism and how customers are treated. I expect much better from a store like Vons.

This is my favorite grocery store in my area! The shelves are always stocked with a wide variety of items. This place also has the most self checkout machines I have ever seen in one store. It's large, clean, and has anything you could ever want when grocery shopping. I highly recommend it!

Nothing bothers me more than when a business has it advertised that they’re open until a certain time, and close EARLIER THAN THAT CERTAIN TIME. This store is supposed to be open until midnight, and yet this door is locked while this security guard is just standing there out of camera, but on his phone unaffected. One of the things I love about the great businesses like Costco of the world is that they are letting people into their store until the very Last MINUTE it hits closing time— not locking their doors 5 or 10 minutes before.
