Sign in to reviewStopped by a friend’s spot and tried a couple of their rolls. Presentation was clean and well put together. The shrimp roll had a nice crunch with a creamy, slightly spicy topping, and the salmon/mango roll was smooth with a balanced sweetness. Fish tasted fresh and the rice was done right. Overall, solid quality and attention to detail. Definitely worth checking out.
Ok but mediocre place, nice service, mediocre food, They have an extensive list of unique cocktails I didn't try. An ok option for when you have an event/movie close by. The gyu don was very cartilage heavy, but flavors were ok. The sushi and omakase were meh, with the sushi falling apart as we ate. Stick with appetizers like the tsukune and wings.
Great place to grab a cocktail! I can't speak for the sushi, but the signature cocktails here are phenomenal. The owner runs the bar and makes the drinks, it's fun chatting with him about cocktails & the goings-on in SF. If you're in the area and want to try some creative cocktails with a Japanese theme, this is the place to hit up!
Cool atmosphere, but food was just okay. Highlights were the zucchini skewers, shrimp skewers, and veggie tempura. Lowlights were the beef tongue skewers and the ramen egg (overcooked). Not sure how the sushi was. Pricing was reasonable for being in San Francisco.
We stopped by after a graduation ceremony and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. The food was absolutely fabulous—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. We also appreciated the selection of alcohol-free mocktails, which were creative and delicious. The atmosphere was warm, calm, and peaceful—a perfect setting to relax and celebrate. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming and serene dining experience.
