Mabel Chong

I brought a couple of pieces of jewelry that are quite dear to me in to Mabel Chong for polishing. I live in the neighborhood and wanted to give them a try as I walk by frequently (they are close to the Presidio library!) and enjoy looking at the beautiful work they have created displayed in the window. They were welcoming and pleasant, treated my pieces with good care, did a beautiful job, and worked promptly. I am delighted to be able to wear them again! Highly recommend.

Amazing experience. I went to get some custom work down and meanwhile, there was a photoshoot going on and the whole gang. Such great vibes and energy. I love stopping by whenever I can. Mabel’s designs are the most unique that I have ever seen and anyone would be lucky to wear any of her pieces. Mabel puts her heart into everything she does, and goes the extra mile. Using genuine gemstones with precious metals. She’s the real deal.

I had such a wonderful experience modifying a vintage diamond engagement ring for my daughter with Mabel Chong, I came in with a vague ideas, and she was si helpful and knowledgeable, guiding me through the design process with sketches and semi-precious stones. She was very patient with my questions and we were able to finalized with a reasonable pricing. I am looking forward to see the finish ring.I highly recommend them for a unique piece at the store and high-quality custom piece.

TLDR; Do not go here. Untrustworthy. They broke a part of my ring and then replaced it with a poor quality replacement part and tried to gaslight me and say that there was never amethyst in the band. My partner dropped off her ring to get resized. First time going here but we were on a tight timeline and they were able to turn it around in a week. I have had it appraised prior and taken to my regular jeweler prior and after to have it examined and verified that it was in fact altered. We think what happened was they broke the piece and instead of telling me (which honesty is ok mistakes happen) they just tried to replace it with a poor quality part and hoped I’d never notice. When I went to pick it up I was stuck arguing with the owner for like 20 mins until I gave up and just left. I had pre paid for the ring resize. Mable Chong never took accountability or offered to make it right. I rarely leave bad reviews but this one is necessary to warn others.

Kerri was amazing- patient and helpful! My daughter and I made the most previous charm bracelets here and the price was great. Highly recommend.
