I have been here a few times when I was younger and knew I would be back in the future. To refresh my memory, I had to make a visit here again after many years has surpassed. Upon arrival, I was greeted by their welcoming staffs and it was time to see what goodies to pick up. At first, I was kind of suprised because the store looked very small, but that was just the front. Thank goodness, the store in fact is a pretty good size and extended towards the back. They have tons of authentic Japanese goods, such as, cold/non-cold beverages, alcohol, fruit cups, dairy products, condiments, flour, frying batter, eggs, curry, frozen items, fresh refrigerated meats, vegetables, fruits, cookies, canned goods, chips, candy, a variety of sake, seaweed section, ramen, cup noodles, a rice section, ready to eat items, sushi rolls, sashimi, household items, toys and much more to choose from. From the start to finish, my cart quickly filled up with many delicious and exciting items. They have many cashiers on duty, since it was a busy day and lines were forming during checkout, but that does not bother me since I am a very patient person. When it is time to pay, you can provide them with your personal bags or you can purchase their paper bags. The staffs here are well trained, polite, professional and understanding where my experiences are always a satisfying and issue free one. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Japanese products, if you are willing to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back again to shop.

Convenient place to buy Japanese groceries. For me it’s getting supplies for okonomiyaki. The sushi and prepared food section is great.

I love browsing this Japanese market in Japantown, even if I don't need anything. They have a great selection of ready-to-eat sushi, poke bowls, and various snacks like Japanese potato chips and candies. The aisles also offer seaweeds, canned goods, sauces, sushi rice, and cooking essentials. The shop is clean, and the staff is always polite and friendly. Just don’t go hungry!

Omg we wished we found out this place earlier, excellent bento 🍱 with affordable price. The only one let us down is the pork bowl, the pork was extremely dry but the rest was good. Highly recommended the sashimi seasonal special, delicious scallops and a lots of crab. Will definitely come back to try more bento and hopefully the pork Katsu will get improved.

The sushi is WAY better than Whole Foods / Safeway (unsurprisingly). Fish and rice both have fresher taste and texture, especially at lunch time. Lots of people pick up lunch here but it doesn’t get too crowded.
